He doesn't strictly speaking need just that, there used to be agp cards with double analogue outputs.
They are rare now, but a dvi->analogue adapter on the card you suggested should let you connect two monitors even if neither is made for dvi.
@soul: Jai/spicker is right in that the onboard graphics prolly will/should be disabled if you install an agp card.
'cos the onboard graphics prolly wouldn't come close in performance to the other graphics card, so they wouldn't work well together even if they could.
well technically u could have dual monitors if u get a splitter :01: but then u will be seeing the same thing on both monitors....my school used to do this
yea i just got interested, since my workplace has duel monitors so its cool =D, my old video card could support duel monitors, i have an ati all in wonder 9000 it doesnt support duel =(
can't imagine why you would want monitors to fight each other
I used to use my analogue out + s-video out. I have my tv to the right of my pc so i can have a video playing over there while doing whatever on the monitor. :)
Hmm would it work if you have a DVI slot and the regular plug (don't know what those are called)?
Yep, should would just fine.
