Ok, I am about ready to make some minor changes at the request of many members. The first change will be possibly combining a few of the folders into one or two folders.
Please give me a general outline of what you guys think is best.
I will then take the outline to the mod/admin team and work something out.

merge the shareaza and the dc world into general filesharing talk as they are the two least populated.
And moving soulseek to musicworld isnt a bad idea either as Soulseek is almost only used for sharing music

Make one folder for everything kazaa lite related ....
much like all the other p2p folders are on there own and all related topics go into them.
I'd say take the codecs and put them in KL development as a sub section.
Agreed .... there should be a Kazaa Lite folder....
and a sub folder with everything codec related, and one for klite the proggie :)
Nah dont add the codecs to a kazaa lite folder they are way more important and really not connected to kazaa in any form. Altough I like the idea of making a general development section and then as subforums one for the codecs and one for kazaa lite.
But you do agree that the whole kazaa lite category isn't need and all related topics should be in one folder?

I think the kazaa lite thing is good but also believe that all of the fileshareing forums like shareaza etc. should become sub forums because they aren't really that popular.Quote:

Haven't been for a while mate. I agree, treat it like any other sharing app.
I hate to bring this up again but i think we should kill bookworld and get a sportsworld :01:

Surely such discussions would be in Software world.
Why get rid of bookworld. Lots of people share books, audio books, comics etc. It is a valid part of the forum and relates directly to file sharing.Quote:

I have no objection to a sportworld, but how does it relate to file sharing, or even computers. Unless you are talking about sports games.

I think that Shareaza, Emule, Edonkey2000, overnet/lite should be combined under one folder "ED2K Network" or "Edonkey network" etc. Since all of the above use one network.
DC++ could be put under "Other Related P2P Program Discussions".
Instead of "General KL Discussion", I think that it should be renamed "Fasttrack network Discussion", which includes Kazaa MD/+, Kazaalite, Morpheuos, Mammoth etc, because Klite is kinda, should I say it? nah I do not want to admit it.

I guess a thought would be to have a EDK2/BT Forum, that could cover eMule, eDonkey, Shareaza and Bittorent all in one. what about combing the lounge and talk club, since the talk club isnt very active,
infact over a third of the talk club posts are down to 2 posts, the folding@home topic, and the klf meeting topic.
also what about combining the the codec pack forums into one, and making the actual development of the packs pinned within the one forum. it may stop people asking questions in the actual development topics.
The two links at the bottom of the main page

are absolutly pointless
- why not remove (and replace with something else?)
