bitcomet connection thru college proxy?

hello
the proxy server in my college prevents the torrent programs i use (ex:bitcomet) from connecting, the status stays on "connecting" forever.
anyway i can bypass that? anyway i can make use of all those torrent files?
Pease help, it's a matter of life and death!

i think that a firewall is blocking ports, try to change the ports to random ones
