Hi, I think the best site that is still open would be thebox.bz; who knows maybe even it can become exclusive once it has enough popularity and the cycle will continue.
i was around in 2006 (torrenting) but I never heard of FTN and apparently thats when they were last open. but i don't think the new sites are going in that direction somehow there's just too many with the same stuff.
