If you just want to watch it on your pc then use divx or xvid at a lower bitrate, they offer far better compression. But for watching on dvd players use KVCD if you have a cd writer.
i want to make them smaller so i can upload them onto my site.
If you are uploading to share with other people you can use WMV, RM (real player) and Quicktime video. These are very common formats for web downloads/broadcasts. DivX is becoming increasing popular for this purpose too.Quote:
