there are a couple of theme programs like windows blinds and stardock if im correct.
a good site for themes is wincustomize.com
they have themes for different icon progs

try searching for something like longhorn side bar on wincustomize
Check the system icon in the bottom-left - The desktop is using Stardock DesktopX, possibly DX2.
I'm checking where the exact sidebar is - Chances are that its in several components at WinCustomize
I think that clock thing is called Sysmetrix and it is on the Wincustomize site.

hav u tried the program called ASTON?
You can also check SmartbarXP..
I've used it a few times and it's pretty neat.
