I just ran search and destroy, and adaware and it is still happily living on my IE browser.
I normally don't encounter and download ad-junk tool bars. Did I get this from downloading eXeem?
Regardless of who I got it, what is the best way to get rid of it?

do you have something like "Toolbar LookSmart" in your ADD/REMOVE?

Yes, Add/Remove Programs should do it for you.
But I have had a few tool bars that would still show up in IE. In witch case I used Iolo’s System Mechanic 5.0 to remove it.
I get those shit bars every once and a while they are VERY ANOYING:angry: :w00t:

Run hijackthis! and post the log. Also make sure adaware an spybot an are up to date.
Thats why I have firefox and I didn't know about this toolbar for several days now untill I opened up "my computer" and was greeted with a beep and a tool bar on my frickin computer drive list.Quote:
