:blow: It doesn't seem to be that easy.
I've been working on this for awile Right now I'm using tmpgenc it seems to be working best so far, pretty simple process too.
:dog: Check the "convert avi-to-dvd-r post
DVDrhelp.com < Explains Everything well mostly
:dog: GO TO ROCK TONICS LINK.
:beerchug: Have a drink and celebrate!! :D
I used tmpgenc to convert .AVI to mpeg-1
Then:
I used Sonic foundry's "DVD Architect to write to dvd-r
dvd arch. will prepare, renderandburn the disk in one step.
Only two softwares and about 5min interaction time.
if ur trying to make a dvd, mpeg 1 will not do sorry mpeg1 is for vcd's, it needs to be mpeg2 with thse specs DVD PAL (MPEG-2 720x576 25fps CQ 65, Layer-2 48000Hz 384kbps)Quote:

Mate the audio hasnt got to be 384kb.You can cut it download if you like ,to add more data to the video. :P It dont have to be "Cq" either. You can encode at "cbr" or "vbr".Cbr's alot better mate if you modify other setting. It chops off 3/4 of the encoding time. :)
