modchip.ca is reliable, but expensive, but if money is not matter, then yea.
http://modchipman.com/ is also reliable, and i think less expensive...
and
http://divineo.com/ (a post down below says this is a scam site...so yeh, take that into consideration i guess, i dint know that, i had good service out of them)
they are all pretty much the same, well known, reliable...just see which one you like best out of the 3.

i got my chipped xbox from there and it worked perfectly. it also arrived in 2 days which was excellent.

Sorry man, but those chips are quite expensive :( . The site claimed that the chip mod would be the cheapest for me to get , plus the chip mod has a 3 year warranty :(
By the way , does anyone know of any informative site on how to install a mod chip into a playstation 2, with pictures, please ?
Most modchip places will send you a diagram with the chip or give you a web site to go to... Register at the forums here http://www.ps2-scene.org/ they will have all the info you will need
