i am now a member of demonoid.com thanks to a member from here as i want some old movies my question is some torrents have (external) next to them if i use that torrent does my upload & dowload count towards my ratio there forums are down at the moment can someone explain please thanks.

No, it doesnt count toward your ratio, external means tracked my an tracker other than demonoid meaning you won't get credit for your upload or download
