Does anyone know what the other location of the hosts file can be... on is
C:/Program files/Windows/DRIVERS/etc/
and the others is something like..
C:/Winnet ?? i forget...some plz tell me

sorry mods can delete this ..i found it... its...
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\
or..
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc
You should also add on your site that in ME its just in the Windows directory.

Yup.
Done its on there....but you should have wrote this in my other topic " Hosts File " ...but oh well nevermind
In windows 95 and 98 it's in C:\windows as well.. ;)

Ok thanks for telling me....i didnt know since i dont have those versions..the file is in the C:/windows right ? Not in one of the folders...just that first folder.Quote:
