I apologize if I have posted this incorrectly. I have had the worst success finding a cracked version of this software than any other, ever. Is the only alternative available to pay $50 for it?

It is against the rules to post cracks, no-cd patches, serials, keygens or torrents on this board.
Posting URL links to websites which host cracks, no-cd patches, serials or keygens is also NOT allowed. Do NOT post these, or create threads asking for these.
Don't create threads if you are having problems with cracking a program. Cracking discussions aren't allowed.
