I use NNTPGrab because it's simple nzb downloader but it's powerful and doesn't use a lot of memory. If you're looking for a reader that does binary downloads and browses newsgroups I'd try Pan but it's NZB downloading feature is not very well integrated in the GUI and it's a bit of a memory hog.

Is there an easy way to install this on Ubuntu? I have tried everything known to man to get NNTPGrab to install to no avail. I compiled the source and filled the dependencies but I am stuck at Glade 2.0. (libglade2-devel) Everytime I go to configure I get an error that says Glade is not installed but it is. Am I missing something? There is not much info on the ubuntu forums about NNTPGrab. I have also searched high and low on google about it and still not much.

I have tried altbinz under WINE and Crossover Pro and have similar results to hellanzb+myhella. Either way though thank you for the tip.
