Is Blackcats necessary for games?
If you're already on a bunch of scene-type trackers like Bitsoup that have loads of video games? I'm on bitgamer & nemesys as of now & they're borderline pointless for me to have as the regular trackers actually have more games & more seeders. But it seems like Blackcats could also be the shit.
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
BCG is pretty decent for old games. If you're looking for new games, then regular scene trackers will be just fine.

no..not really. If you got what you need at Bitsoup then you don't need BCG
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
if you have a console, say xbox360 it could be good for finding xbox 1 emulated games and such.. and it has a much wider selection than 0day trackers.

That's cool, do you need the 360 elite to do that or can you play them on a regular modded console?
BCG sounds like a fun site then, I guess I'll try to get invited some time. The other lower level video game trackers I'm not sure if I'll continue with however. Thanks for the replies.
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
just read my sig for how many games we have and from what console (there are more categories than i have listed though)
we wont be everyones cup of tea, and most things you probably can get elsewhere, like 0 day scene releases.
But we do not pride ourselves on those, we like to think of ourselves as a one stop shop for games, if we dont have it you can request it and chances are it will be filled eventually. we do have a load of requests atm though.
i wont say you need it if you have something else, plenty people have joined and just let their account slip (we had 100,000 users 9 months ago, we now have 49.500) so not everyone that joins thinks its great, obviously i do but im biased lol.
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
when i had a console, bcg was THE tracker, i could find the old classic games for ps2 only there, and as i could see recently, its the best for console games.
unfortunetaly i have been kicked out cos of inactivity, since i had to give my console back :/
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
Yes it is it has games and lots of them for people that enjoy gaming i have yet to see a general tracker top any of trackers that specialise in one particular type of file
Re: Is Blackcats necessary for games?
Yea, I have a really hard time finding xbox1 games. Seems BCG is the place to be if they cater to older games too. Hope to try it out some day and see.

Indeed. Luckily, it seems that they do occasionally open sign-ups during special holidays. :P
However, I remember reading somewhere that the script handling open-signups is broken and the staff have yet to fix it. Hope that'll be resolve soon before those holidays come around.
