how do i register my nick?

what do you mean?

in one of the channel it says that i can not download without a registered nick

Put this in the Status Window:

/nick <username>
/nickserv register <password> <your email>

---

To login:

Code:

---

/msg NickServ IDENTIFY <password>

---

Subsitute the <>&#39;s with required item.

open up mIRC and click on Help and then click on Register under Help and then Register and if u need a serial # PM me

To get all the relevant commands type:
/msg nickserv help ;)

does the email have to be valid or just anything?

It depends sometimes yes..sometimes no ..sometimes no email required at all..But sometimes they send a confirmation email (only seen this once can&#39;t rememeber the network) :huh:
