backup address bar in internet explorer & Backup tips needed
hey guys i will be formating my windows drive and reinstall windows in it.now the prob is my windows system files are corrupter & not working properly.
so first thing i want to ask you guys is how do i backup address bar in internet explorer,it has many sites in it and i cant copy paste em all.
and any tips before formating my windows,btw now im on winxp sp2+2005 updates.i'll have to dl all the updates again :(

ok, here's a primitive way...
launch ur IE, goto all those websites u have
for each website, make sure u bookmark them (press Ctrl+D)
after all the websites have been bookmarked,
click File -> Import and Export...
just follow the instructions...make sure u choose Export Favorites

Why don't you make a slipstreamed cd ? Best thing I did, very easy too! :)

i dont know abt this autostreamer,its a diff thing.
but i have a lots of url's prob more than 75.any easy rogie that can do it or a systemfile backup that can be done????

Thats what I was suggesting ,a way to keep it simple and easy. :)

exporting the reg key:
[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2288812250-2699531518-1521880722-1006\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs] and/or
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs]
should do it, if it's the same location in your registry as mine
