Ace-T has always been rather slow, maybe that is a contributing factor to your errors. bitgamer.com (I assume you meant this one) is showing timeouts for me as well.

works fine both trackers for me.. i think they haven't problems with connections..
now they work fine to me too.
maybe the problem was temporary.:whistling
