Airline spoofed their email adress on me

So I was checking on my flight with northwest airlines and they offered to send me an email with my iteniary so that I could look over it.

So I gave them my email address and they sent it.

I look at my email page (gmail) and I see an email from "me" (gmail changes the from address to "me" when you send an email to yourself)

It says Northwest Airlines Travel Information.

So I open it and sure enough it is my iteniary. But when I look at the header of the email it is sent from [email protected] and sent to [email protected]



They spoofed the "from" address with my own address!!

But it did come across with

mailed-by nwa.com

as another part of the email header


I just thought it was pretty funny that they spoofed the "from" part of the email
