7 or 10 minutes to hardboil them?
Depends on how you like em! Hard or soft?
Edit: maybe I should read stuff properly before I comment!
Well I'm trying to hard boil them so hard would be good :P
Decided I fancied bacon and warm egg mayo sarnies for my dinner
7mins should do it,then run them under cold water if you want to make sarnies out of em,makes em easier to peel
Hardboiled eggs take at least 10 minutes plus however long it took to get your water to a boil.
Seven minutes'll give you a partially coddled egg.
:shuriken:
8¾
10 Minutes for a well-boiled egg. The peeling under cold water also saves the fingers as said eggs will be a tad warm. Add a pinch of salt to the egg mayo. Yum.

eggs are not very nice at all, destroy them all :ermm:
How to make a Hard Boiled Egg
Lay eggs on bottom of the pot
Try not to stack your eggs (it's better to do it in batches than overfill your pot)
Fill with water so it's an inch over the eggs
Put on high heat and bring to a rapid boil
Let boil for 12 minutes
Remove from heat
Remove the eggs immediately from the pot (I use a slotted spoon) and plunge them into cold water until you can pick them out of the water without burning your hands (a bit under a minute)
They actually have websites dedicated to this
