Re: IDE devices not detected
Something to do with "Startup" disk drivers?
I had similar probs a while back and had to make a startup disk to get the drivers for the HD and cd drive.

Just a guess :)

Maybe maybe not, try putting the exact wording of the error message in google.

IDE devices not detected :P
You know when you boot up and its meant to list them? Well it isn't, I have falshed the bios and also tried to get it to detect them from in there but its not happening

If you can't find the answer there, open the cd drive, then open a tin of spam and squeeze it in, then push cd drive shut and pour tomatoe sauce over the puter and throw it out teh window :01: :P
I just asked a mate who knows a bit more about ths than me (no he's not a monkey :P ) he said "Feck knows, sounds like someones been fiddling with the BIOS"
Hope you get it sorted :01:

Thanks for linking me to a google search I have already tried
Updating the bios didn't help. Bah, this pc worked fine when I last used it
