It's too late by then, if you happen to notice someone having a heart attack snap away. Just think how much the relavtives will pay for the last pics of their loved ones and what better way to fill up a half empty family photo album.
Re: Wedding Photographers.
So basically cameras where designed to capture only those events "when the sun shines"?
reality has more than one side.
Why hide it?

Not everyone does. Most people do, probably tho'...
Re: Wedding Photographers.
Probably not.
Western culture hides death,
instantly.
Sewage systems are not so appealing to the masses.

Re: Wedding Photographers.
People usually photograph things they want to re minis about, or show to others. A funeral wouldn't be something most people care to speak about at all after it's done.
You want to remember and converse about someone's life, not their burial.

Yes.
It is our fatal flaw as westerners.
Re: Wedding Photographers.
Funeral photographer do exist.
At least, they do in Belgium.
We've got a photo album from my dad's funeral.
It's pretty common there. Someone will come round before the funeral and ask if you wish to have pictures taken.
