the way i always do it is 'save page as' and pick out the .swf from the saved files, but im sure there is a better way to do it

Sothink SWF Decompiler adds an option to ie to save flash movies
saves to where ever you specifiy it to, around for it where you saved the site toQuote:

Or if you keep an internet cache you can check in that folder and it should be saved there if you viewed it over the net.
