ipconfig/flushdns
Can I just type that in "Run"?
The thing is that I'm having a hard time connecting to a tracker.
And they say that the thing to do is to open a command prompt and type in 'ipconfig/flushdns'.
Is it save for me to do this in "Run"?
I already tried typing in ipconfig and that only opened up a dos window for like a sec.
And what exactly does this ipconfig/flushdns do?

Re: ipconfig/flushdns
Ya its safe to do it in Run, It clears the DNS cache.

Re: ipconfig/flushdns
yes it works from run. but if any errors come up or anything then it won't tell you them. the dos window just instantly closes. with a command prompt it all stays there for you to read.

Re: ipconfig/flushdns
or you could use a batch file with a pause command in it
Code:
ipconfig /flushdns
pause
