If you download something using BT you can see the download rate in kB but under that is an upload rate.
I don't get it. How can you control what people download from you?

What do you mean. This is called filesharing. As yu download the file others are uploading parts from you as well, thats how it works.

So when a download is finished can others still upload that file? I'm used to using Kazaa.

When you say bittorrent client do you mean the window that shows you how much you've downloaded?
