Which IT skills are crucial to get a Web Design/Development job in Europe?

I'm an IT student, and I plan to study by myself during next year (using tutorials, books and applications) - as I believe my studies are not "up-to-date" enough to get a job.

So to all of you who have been working or worked recently in the IT industry in Europe and especially in the Internet/e-commerce sector, I ask this question.

From the info I managed to gather Dreamweaver + HTML + Photoshop + Flash + Javascript are the basis. Because there are many (too many...) platforms, languages and other skills out there I want to concentrate and learn some of them (the ones needed) very well.

I'm looking forward to hear your suggestions on this matter.
