a lot of sound card drivers now come with an equalizer...

nVidia has one too...at least as far back as the nForce2 chipset
check your chipset, go to their website, see if theres an audio driver update...
should come with some sort of multimedia control panel

the VIA one auto-started too if i remember right
about the same amount of RAM usage too i think
(but the default VIA controller was kinda sucky) :P
they did have a vinyl audio controller that was ok though...
but still not as nice as the nVmixer
I have it (on VIA KM266 chipset lol) since the latest driver release.
It's in the contorl panel called vinyl audio or something like that.
