the ice melted, leaving water...
The rope he hung himself with was rawhide, which expands when soaked in water. He soaked it, tied the rawhide around himself, and then waited for it to dry, hence contacting again and crushing his neck.Quote:

http://www.piczonline.com/client/titey/clap.gif Kudos for the cerebral answer Illum, but if the rawhide contracted anyway, couldn't he have just strangled/choked himself to death?Quote:

Why would he need to hang himself as well?
:P Or was he just being thorough?
Where does it say that he hanged himself? That was hogster's supposition.Quote:

The bell pull was to signal turning the water off, which he managed to do, but being a midget he drowned before the water had drained away.
3rd gen noob was correct
 The answer given by Illum was in response to Hog's riddle...Quote:

Apparently no one gives a shit about what you posted. :P
I was under the impression that Hogster was rephrasing chalky's riddle, and added an assumption of his own.
Well, your first mistake was assuming that anything Hog posts has coherence. http://www.piczonline.com/client/titey/laugh.gifQuote:
