but CZone just banned utorrent 1.7.7
personally i would stick with utorrent 1.7.7. its not a resource hog like azeurus so you can rip dvds and music and do everything while letting utorrent run in your system stay. either abandon the trackers that dont allow 1.7.7 until they do, or if you actually do need to use them then get an alternative client just for those sites until they accept 1.7.7
Weird that some sites still don't allow 1.7.7. All the ones I know of do. I would suggest running 2 separate clients or contact the site that banned 1.7.7 and ask why.
CZone, or any other tracker, may unban 1.7.7, but I wouldn't count on it. At least not until there's a clear consensus about stability and security.
There have been widespread reports that µTorrent versions 1.7.x send private information outside the tracker.
As to whether that's true or not, you can judge or research the issue yourself, or trust tracker admins who have tested the suspect versions, talked with µTorrent developers, and decided to ban (see this post from the ilovetorrents admins from July '07). In any case, it's definitely true that since the sale of µTorrent to BitTorrent at the end of '06, original µTorrent author Ludvig Strigeus is not continuing to develop the client, and most tracker admins would rather be safe than sorry.
As earlier posters said, Azureus is widely accepted at private trackers, though many think it's bloated (particularly current versions) and slow. I agree that µTorrent 1.6.1 is your best bet, and you can get it here.
what tracker doesn't allow 1.7.7?
Wait a litle bit.
uTorrent will be allowed soon, or just wait for a new version.
For me, there were no problem until now.
thank you very much guys for your comments
i decided to stick with some of my trackers and leave the others for a while like what you told me

thank you all
