My most fervent wish is that something like this comes to pass and most of you are eaten by zombies.

Despite the seamless timeline, all the guys' hair has grown a fucking lot.
Apart from that, it looks fantastic.
Only 13 weeks to go >_<
Except zombies don't really eat people, do they?
If they did, there wouldn't be any zombies.
Of all the zombie material I've read/seen so far only two make any sense...World War Z was an excellent overview of the effects of a pandemic (zombies) on all aspects of society and the Newsflesh trilogy actually has reasonably coherent explanation of the medical origins and repercussions of a zombie outbreak.
As for movies, I don't think anything will ever top Romero's original Night of the Living Dead (which I saw during it's original release).
Placed in context, few movies have been as horrifying (Alien would be comparable) and none as bleak.
Basically, I don't get all the zombie love lately.
I reckon it's the ultra violence.Quote:

It's not just zombie love, it's the apocalypse scenario. An end to all things that preoccupy us in our modern lifestyles and a pining to find ourselves forced to live in our fantasized primal roots. Something like that I believe. We don't seem to know what else to do about our regrets of advancing technology.
