It was a graduate class studying the History of Rhetoric. We were discussing Quintilian and the topic came up that he was speaking only of teaching men. I remembered (actually looked up, as to not butcher) your comment.
The professor (after holding back his initial desire to laugh) mentioned, "that was both sexist and racist -all in one". At that, the laughter died, and we moved on. :lol:

I'm rather moved to have remotely instigated a moment of reserved awkward pause and laughter, even if it was by your oral delivery. That last part wasn't a dig, it was merely to highlight the lesser role I played. So what happens when you quote Dave, do you get arrested or hospitalized? Oh, that question was a definite list, I'm asking which one.
