How would it fuck it up so bad...I would figure since home and pro are almost the same that the files would be almost the same also.
Only time I've seen this before is when the monitor refresh rate is set to a setting it can't display. If that's the case then you can sort it by booting into safe mode and changing the refresh rate to a safe setting (in the Advanced Settings bit of Display Properties).
Reboot and Robert is your mother's brother.

reformat. afterwards, turn on ICF if u dont have xp w/sp1. have ICF on long enough to go and grab SP1 off the net.
