I'm looking for a good school/college textbook tracker as well. Textbooks aren't the cheapest of things.

Well, I didn't want to start a whole new topic asking for the exact same thing. I'm just stating that I'm in the same boat looking for the same thing. Thanks for your ever insightful post though.

How am I hijacking a thread? We both get the info, it's not like one needs to know and the other doesn't. Starting a new thread would be a TOTAL waste when we're looking for the exact same thing.

i suppose you could try elbitz as well. i'm not a member there so i don't know about their content, but at least it won't be hard to find an invite.

personally, i find it too difficult to find the actual textbooks i need. however, you can usually find international softcover editions of the textbooks you need on ebay or amazon resellers. these usually go for under $40, and i've never had a problem with the content or quality of any of these. also, if you manage to score a cheap deal on a hardcover textbook online, you can sell it back to the school bookstore.

i've spent 5 semesters at college now and between sharing books with roomates and these methods, i don't think i've spent more than a net of $50 on textbooks
