Thread: Make recycle bin larger

    Can you make recycle bin in windows xp larger then 3.99 gig there is always someone trying to undelete something, and if you delete a dvd usually 4.3gig its gone forever.

    Think your at the max with XP , something about 10 % of your HDD size ?

    You could always make a "Recycle Bin" bin or "Trash" folder and move things there instead.

    Just because you delete them, doesn't mean their gone, far from the contrary

    There are other versions of these programs I am about to present (Ontrack Easy Recovery, etc..), but this one is free.

    Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!
    If you really want to delete it, wipe it 7 times first, then it will be really deleted.
