How do youto find out whats uplaoding ?

Hi Guys

I have just gone on to broadband.

The other day When I was not using the net I noticed some activity on my internet icon in my system tray.

When I checked the status, there was quite a bit of up and downloading.

How can I find out what is being uploaded or downloaded.

I know how to check if I have a Tojans or viruses etc, but I want to know what exactly is happening if I see such activity.

I'm not at home so I cannot test it but this look to be something for you (freeware):

From looking at the screenshots it looks like it should give you the program name along with a great deal of other info.

Well, you could install ZoneAlarm, and see what programs are accessing the internet.

Also there's an app called Fport, which may help you determine what is going on.

i use statbar, http://www.statbar.nl/
works well, can show if your connection is being used, hard drive space available and whats been used, works with winamp, how much memory you are using and how much you have left.
quite a few features, its just a shame the app hasnt been updated for some time.

NetLimiter will show you the info ur looking for.
