I'm not 100%, but I believe the file names have to match in order to be checked. Now the folder that contains all the data can be named differently, just click that folder when browsing to the save location, and it will verify the files inside (as long as the file names match up)

no it cant. it needs to be EXACTLY the same
EDIT: the file names need to be exactly the same aswell as the torrent includes folders, these folders need to have the same name on your hd.

allright. azureus can reseed without renaming. i just wanted to know if utorrent has this feature as well. seems like it doesn't.

yes there is a function for it with new versions of utorrents..

Just want to say again that the main folder name does not have to match at all without any extra settings. Just make sure to browse, and click on the folder if the name is different.
