How to get an account at ScT?

It hit me that I don't know the possible ways to get an account at the almighty ScT.

Do they even have invites or do you need to trade an account?

If they have invites:
is it like with FTN, almost always reached user limit?
How easy/hard is it for members to get invites?

I tried searching, but you get quite a few hits searching on “ScT invites”

sct has invites

the users with sct invites will come to you, you do not ever go to them

That's not even true. The sct account I got was because I asked for it.


But they close all registrations when they reach 12000 users. I think when you get an invite they put in on hold or something until registration opens up again.

So if I get an invite now it will be queued until a spot opens up and never expire?

if you get a invite and it full you won't get in till they clear some dead members .
As the limit is 12000 as stated above.

but I can still have the invite sent to me so I can try to use it from time to time to see if it works?

and it won't expire in a week if I havent been able too use it?

Why do they make the user limit so small?
It should at least be like OiNK where it is more than 100,000 users/
