ahhhh....the joys of metropolitan driving, and the adventures that await....
this is....ermmm.....was.....my bros' girlfriend's car.....before San Diego traffic happened to it

I think she sustained a minor knee injury, but otherwise they are both OK, luckily

Oh no. Car wrecks are not fun. Hope that knee remains just minor, and I am glad they are both okay.

I have been to San Diego and I liked it. However, I arrived by train and took taxis. Probably saved that City from another 10 car pile up that way.

this a late model Toyota Camry, you'd think it might not do that,
what with all the safety advances they are supposed to be making in the auto world

Why do american cars burn so easily, and british cars hardly do(unless they've been nicked and torched),is the petrol different?

I've trashed 3 cars (all while I was high, go figure)....
roll-over @ 70 mph in an Acura Legend
ran over some train tracks and ripped the front & underside all to hell in a Huyndai Tiburon
ran into someone's house (don't ask) in a Ford LTD
(needless to say I don't get high anymore)

and I've never had one burn, Japanese or American
I think you watch too much TV

me thinks this was just some freak thing,
maybe part of the hood or somethin collapsed into the fuel line?
however it happened, fuel must have hit the hot exhaust and wallah! fire
