How do you know when eggs have gone bad?

I have some eggs in the fridge that say they're good until 8/7, but that has past....

What do you think? Eat them or no?

throw them in car windows as they drive past, if you get one on there face then they will eat them !!

bad eggs float, gas, pores, or some such, wikipedia didn't help
