Thread: SATA drive = safely remove hardware?

    Ok guys, I got everything setup. the problem is that my sata drive is being shown on the system tray and telling me that I can safely remove it. wtf?

    That's probably because you can't remove your system volume.

    AFAIK all SATA drives are theoretically capable of hot swap, though I would not like to try it with ones which have Molex power connectors.
