I've noticed thumbnails with a photo album image also have some system folder icon behind them. How can I modify this to something blank? I am using an OSX theme for my icons and I notice it modified this, so it has to be possible.
    Any ideas?

(XP's default uses the boring tan/yellow folder icon for these btw)

Well, I'm searching for the location of that "hidden" icon behind the thumbnails.

Same goes for that blasted "CD Cursor" Xp uses when you put a cd in. It's missing from the mouse settings.. heh, bill was too lazy.

if you know how to use reshacker then it should be easy
if not search a quiky tutorial using reshacker

the thumbnail icon is located in shell32.dll
    in icon group
    27
    and 28

you can change it to whatever you want.

as for the cd cursor youll have to open up acouple of dlll & exe found in system32 folder and look through the "cursor" strings to locate it.
generally the basic xp icons are found in
    explorer.exe
    shell32.dll
    msgina.dll

Reshacker appears to delete the whole set of folder icons instead of just the thumbnail one. Odd, so I wonder if there's some other software that might make it easier.
It also seems to convert the whole shell32 maybe, I didn't save it because I feared it might screw things up.

reshacker normally makes a backup of whatever file you change.
