    Bad design.

    The pedals are poorly positioned. Low power stroke.

    The tires are too wide. Too much road friction.

    It's a cruiser, not designed for power or road handling ability, designed for comfort and style.

    If you want power and traction then you buy a mountain bike or similar

    Where's the comfort in lower back problems because of the bad positioning of the pedals, and having your bollocks shoved back up into your pelvis because of the poor saddle design?
