Yes 550MB is big but it's still smaller than Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5.

Most of the current Nero apps, I left on the disc.
I do like it's DVD semi-authoring tools though.
Most of the stuff I dl'd like Dr. Who for example, I made multi-episode DVDs with menu's and chapters.

I only use Nero to Burn your basic stuff, such as Data...audio cds...etc. I'm not sure what else I'd need, because I never get any errors with version 6.
Their DVD encoder sucks really...I would say TMPGEnc Express 3 is the best "user friendly" dvd encoder, since it'll import nearly any video format (even quicktime and realmovie)
