    Ram: 1Gig of ram

    It's not the socket type that determines the top speed.

    It's a combination of the CPU, chipset, RAM, HDD, Graphic card etc.

    Yes, the latest AMD platform is the 939.
    Jump on it quickly...due for replacement (or supercession) in early 2007 when AMD moves to DDR3 RAM.
