The BT Broadband Basic (UK) internet package has upped the monthly usage limit from 1GB to 2 GB for no extra charge, (still £17.99), effective from 15th October.

They don't seem to have advertised this fact very much, which is strange.

    Anyway, I am pleased...

    Blueyonder's packages are all uncapped.

Just signed up to Tesco.net's uncapped 512k service for £14.97pcm. Here's looking forward to the 20th when it's switched on.

£17.99 for 2GB is expensive, and you are locked in for 12 months.

What's more, BT's email is crap. Try finding a proper ISP, ie one that knows what they are doing.

I have used bt's email and webspace for ages and never had any problems.

2gb's accounts are designed for people who just check there email and view a few websites. it would be a waste of time for people around here.
