I just noticed i had only 60MB of ram , but after I ran a program called MemTurbo, it freed up some memory, and then i had 330MB of ram left. What i've been noticing is that the amount of ram i have keeps getting lower and lower and i believe there is a big memory leakage problem on my pc. Does anyone know a sufficient program that can be used to monitor ram usage/prevent leakage in memory. The program i use, MemTurbo only scrubs the ram (free up ram from leakage) but leakage will still be occuring.

Some programs monitor memory usage then have a trigger you set to free, scrub etc.

System mechanic or Tuneup Utilities come to mind, I never thought they worked but who knows .

it turns out the main problem for the memory leak is the torrent program uTorrent. I just closed it and it freed up 200MB of ram, go figure... but thanks for the reply peat moss.

You can also monitor memory usage throught the Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del).
Many p2p apps seem to be notorious memory hogs...as I recall K-Lite had a similar problem.
