Is it good?? It's a badass graphics card. I'm an NVidia fan myself though, so I would tell you to look at the GeForce 7800 if you're going to spend that amount of money.

    yo

He said nothing of the like. Anyway i'm a nvidia fan but that is an excellent card, although what are your other specs? You don't want to buy an expensive new card only to be heavily bottlenecked.

can't find the brand "HIS", but I did notice all the ATI Radeon X850XT PE's made by many companys were in a price range from $350-500! Woaaw! I'd love that kind of spending money too.

Been saving up, or is it merely a small expense?

ok... i decided to get the x800xt, i will overclock it when i get it on friday, i know exatly what your going to say about my specs, upgrade to AMD i dont have enought money for that, i could of upgraded motherboard and processor instead of graphics card but i thought graphics card first would be the best.

    Intel pentium 4
    1gb pc3200 ddr400 ram
    160gb hdd
    DFI infinity 865pe
ATI Radeon X800XT going to overclock memory to 600mhz as thats the max with this vivo version.

i dont think my processor will be bottlenecking, as it may be intel but its fast and good enought, i know i know, its not as good as AMD.

    also its a Sapphire X800XT vivo 256mb

it cost me £258 which is pretty cheap, i would got for 7800gt if i had pci express.

You did not mention the processor speed, if its below 2.0 ghz than it will be bottle neck.

well..., i suppose, lol the graphics card is faster than my old computer.

i got that card over the nvidia 6800gt becouse the x800xt can beat the 6800gt and 6800 ultra in some tests, and also beat 6800gt (sli) in few tests
