I assume it is too late now, but did you actually bother to look at the power connector on the Gigabyte mobo? The one on the picture Newegg supplied you with?
You will find that it is a 24-pin connector with 4 of the pins covered in case you want to use a 20-pin connector.

nope i looked at that i talked about it in another thread i think, i dno, but the power supply i choose has the option of using 20 or 24 clocker told me that and then i read that it said 20+4 which means it has 20pin plus another thing you can connect for 4 pins
