Ah, I see what you mean. It is difficult. I remember the change being really hard for me to get used to.
I'm lucky because after a certain amount of time - six months or so - I got back to playing soccer and going out on the weekend with my friends. The missus doesn't mind so long as I take her out once in a while and we go away for a weekend every month or so.
If it was the other way around, I'm not sure I could cope ... she is pretty special in that way.
