    Yes, but Mexico is definitely the place to if you've murdered someone. They don't believe in the death penalty I guess, b/c they will not extradite anyone who could face the death penalty for the crime they've committed in their own country.

    I don't think "there's always an option in the back of your head" because most people don't contemplate committing crimes that would force them to flee the country. On the other hand, should some wild, unthinkable circumstance arise where I was framed or wrongly accused of some heinous crime, then yes, Mexico would be the option for me. I'm only about 4 - 4.5 hours away.

    Have you ever read anything about a town named Nuevo Laredo? Yea, pure paradise I tell you. One sheriff managed to stay alive on the job for a whole 3 hours.
