Thread: How 2 Run 2 Os On 1 Comp

    how can i run win2k server edition on my computer at the moment i am running win me and want 2 run win2k beside it i want to be able to select which one i want to run at startup

    Partition your harddrive. I don't know how tho since I haven't done it but search it in google. It'll give u some good links.

    As far as I know you need to create a new dos partition first in fdisk. Then you install the os to that partition
    I don't know anymore becuase I have never tried this:

    First, get rid of Windows me. My God that is a bad start. I suggest using Windows 98 SE, if you need that to rin certain programs.


    Get XP instead of Win2K too. XP is so much better.

    Here is why I say use Win98 and XP. If you install Win98 on one partion(or hard drive), then install XP on the other partion(or hard drive), you will automatically get a choice of Win98 or XP before the computer completely boots.

    It's easier with partition magic 8 .
    It has a wizard to install the new operating system

    By the way won't you get the choice with Win ME as well as 98se?
